Winter is upon us folks.

Wrote this yesterday day but it took until today for me to add a picture...

Today was quite an adventure. It is officially winter here in Logan I think. Except it is definitely only going to get worse. Our mountains are covered in snow and if was smart I would have taken a picture of them. Maybe next time. and it was consistently snowing as I hiked across campus to my classes. all this snow was kind of a downer, but we had a great dinner to make up for it.

Tonight we had our Friends-giving. It's like Thanksgiving, but with your friends instead of family. We each cooked a part of the meal. I made rolls, from scratch!! They turned out pretty good for my first try at rolls. The Holidays have made me feel very domestic and I volunteered to bake. We also had a turkey, creamed corn, stuffing, and real mashed potatoes. Our meal lacked some color, but it was delicious!

Also trying to have an authentic thanksgiving meal is a little hard when you live in a dorm and don't have a kitchen table. So we improvised a little. My car, Phyllis, has a little pop up table in the back of it so we lugged it up and set it next to the counter. it was a little short and felt a little like the classic kids table but it was fun.

Nicole wore her Utah state dad sweatshirt and sat at the head of the table. Cami set next to her and was mom and the rest of us were kids. We pretended argue and acted like a little real family. This dinner was followed by a very intense game of The Quiet Game and delicious pie. We still aren't sure who won the game.
